I'm still trying out the various ways to post a picture. This was a nice way to go camping. Taken in early summer '01, before we traded for the Prowler, this camper weighed only 7800#. That's about 1600# more behind it under the green cover. Funny thing was the boat would follow exactly in the wheel prints of the camper. If ya could make a turn which the camper cleared, the boat would clear, too. It towed pretty well (direct drive), and stopped fairly well. No backing up! Only problem was I always worred about blowing out one of those little boat trailer tires. If I were towing cross sun, I would look in the mirrors for a boat shadow to know it was still back there. Otherwise, it's a blind tow. Blow a tire at speed, and someone is going to have to pull up from behind and signal! Check tires, hitch, and safety chains carefully. Still, we did it a number of times without incident.
