hearing the news of the death od Dale Earnheart. You were one of my favorite
drivers, i never met him, but liked him
right a way,

you will be missed by many

Well, I too will miss Dale. I watched the race from start to finish. The ironic thing is that My wife has finally taken an interest in NASCAR as she had us booked for the "NASCAR" suite. The room is filled with nascar stuff, including 3 cars. Anyway, Dale is the only driver she recognized. Her first race, and He died. She couldn't believe it. She said that the crash didn't look bad. It didn't . When you go from 170-180 to 0 in less that . 25 seconds, there isn't much spectacular to happen, Just instant carnage. I am assuming that he broke his neck by such a severe deceleration. This is the same thing that happened to Neil Bonnet at Daytona several years ago. I have to agree that Dale was Nascar. And he will be missed here in Ohio

# 3 FOREVER !!!, the man in black touched many people including me. I hope everyone gets a chance to watch his 12 hour tribute Saturday the 25th on ESPN Classic. He will forever live in our hearts and our memories. God Bless the Earnhardt family !!

I too was saddened to hear of Earnharts death. I found out about it on the TDR! I never followed Nascar alot , but when ever I watched it, I looked for #3. He will be missed by myself and many others. At least,in my opinion, He died doing what he loved... . Racing! Farewell Dale. Chris

I was not a big Nascar fan but recently I found out that my neice is, her husband died last year at 43. The Earnhardts were both of their favorites and I was getting interested in them also. Now she looses another hero and all I can say is that is the way I would want to go, doing what I love.
There has to be a race track up in heaven. R. I. P.

I have been a major fan of NASCAR racing for the last 20 years. Winston Cup Racing will not be the same without Dale. He will be missed by millions of people.

I have heard on the news that tomorrows service will be broadcast live, has anyone heard on what channel, and the time ?
