Where's Y-not?

I have a larger Echo (forgot model) for 8 yrs now, and that thing still runs like a top. I know the string head on it kinda sucks sometimes but if you use the "ribbed" line it feeds a whole lot better than just the round stuff. I could'nt ask for much more out of a weed-whacker.

i am a dealer for all brands mentioned and some others. one you may want to look at is shindaiwa. by far the most repair friendly and reliable.

If you buy a STIHL you wont need to be repair friendly since it wont need to be repaired! haha :-laf

just havin fun KH!

Back a couple years ago there was a thread about weed eaters. It all revolved around one that was Cummins powered. That's the only way to go :-laf

Sorry, I had to Oo.

We have had an Echo for over five years (use it to trim about a 1000ft of fence every other week during the spring and summer), replaced the trimmer head once...

Either way, Stihl or Echo, you can't go wrong :D

I have a Stihl FS86? that is about 7 years old no problems. Our maintenance guys like the Shindaiwa's but did say parts can be difficult to get if something does break.
