Mystery Odor in NYC...

D

Living in or near Williamsburg VA

The wife and I adopted a baby girl. The papers were signed a few days ago. :D: I didnt post anything here until it was "official".

She's almost two weeks old, and was born on my brithday!!! :D

Even though we havent done any Christmas shopping for each other, both the Wife and I agree this is the BEST Christmas ever!!!

I'm a little busy now, but pics to follow... .....

Congrats! I wasnt sure about having kids myself until I had them. I was always afraid of being a good enough dad but now that I have them I wouldnt go back in time for nothing! Not even a billion dollars! Im a 33 year old widowed father raising 3 children ages 8 and twins 3 by myself and even though some days are a little rough its well worth it hearing them say I love you daddy! All my kids will be driving Dodge diesels for a first vehicle.

Congrats on the new arrival. I do not miss those sleepless nights at all, lol. I love my daughter to death (who will turn 18 this April) and would not trade her for anything. One thing I do remember is that once they get mobile it seems like in no time at all they have grown up. Kinda funny how they go from wanting you around all the time to not wanting you around at all.

When in doubt: Change the diaper, make a botttle.

The baby will also want to sleep with the parents... sometimes long term.

No, were not starting that. She LOVES her crib, and it will stay that way until she goes to a bed of her own. :D

There's a little problem with her formula. Were on her 3rd formula trying to get what works best for her.

Her bowel movements havent been in a "timley manor" so I guess we got to get a formula that will help that.

Been giving her some sugar water (as per Dr's direction) but it dont help much.

With her being bound up like this, she's been getting crabby. Cant blame her. Pretty gassy too.

Oh well... we'll figure it out.

aseigworth, I hope she's not THAT big. :D

Gotta take a nap now, then the Dr at 1:30. :-laf
