I have recently noticed my passenger side floor mat and door edge is collecting water. My A/C drain appears to be open and working.

Any thoughts?? I cannot seem to trace the source.

John,

If you have clearance lights on top of the cab, they're usually a prime culprit. Water can leak in under the clearance light gasket, then run down the cab support pillar, through the dash, and onto the floor.

John L.

Another likely source is the 3rd brake light. Water from there will usually end up at the passenger floor area. Silicone around the lamp will fix it.

The rear window, the a/c drain, clearance lights all are likely suspects. The a/c drain should have a hose added to it so that it will drain better. Good luck finding the leak.

Since it would be the hardest fix, I'll jump in third and say get a black light (you can get compact fluorescents at stores like Walmart, etc. Check the cab in the dark and see if your 'leak' glows. If not its not likely coolant so start the searches above and also windshield gasketing, as well as the rear slider if equipped. Good Luck
