I'm still looking for "MO PWR". I haven't heard any thing about Plug'n power. It seems to be the new boy on the block. Issue 28 mentioned they were trying one out. If I could get TDR to send me Issue 29 *&^%$# maybe there's some mention of its preformance but I don't know because I haven't got it. Propane Injection sounds like the best bang for my buck but the safety issue is what concerns me. Not so much the mechanics of it but the tank itself. I've had some experience with expansion in the tanks which caused the pressure relief valve to operate, good thing it was out in the open so the vapors didn't couldn,t concentrate. I've a camper shell on my truck so I'm a little leary about that and the temps artound here can get up to 112F. I'll be in tulare this weekend and the're going to have to make a believer out of me. Getting back to the Plug'n'pwr, has anyone tried it? I understand you just plug it in and that's it. I don't like the ideal of wire taps, splices, solder joints and the like. I imagine the other products will soon be doing the same thing, just plug it in, so you can't win for losing because as soon as you buy something new someone comes out with something newer! Gimme some HELP!

Quad is right... it is the VA box. I also think you are correct in saying that soon, most of the boxes will be plug ins... the latest PE is like this, I guess... haven't seen one.

They also go from "pesky" scotchlocks to little pins that make somewhat of a connection with less visibility.

Things are changing... let's hope for the better!

IT'S CALLED PROGRESS AND TECHNOLOGY! Have you bought a computer lately. They are outdated in less than a year!

Actually BIG BOB, ask Rob how old his computer is. #ad

Rob is correct about the "pesky" Scotchlock and pinlock type connectors... . these can be upgraded with Weatherpack connectors, using a dedicated wire soldered and heat shrink protected right to the injection pump wire. If you switch electronic boxes all you have to do to add the new one is install the required Weatherpack connector half. Simple in addition to providing a superior connection. I've upgraded almost every connection on the accessories I've added with these.

Weatherpack connector bodies, terminals and seals can be purchased (or ordered) at any NAPA auto parts store. Terminals are sized for either 14-16 gauge wire or 18-20 gauge wire.

OK, OK, one of these days I will replace my computer! I just prefer spending my money on BOMB projects and guns. I have a few more things to purchase for the Ram, then I will update the computer... well, maybe a few more than a few! Can you say clutch? I really need one now!

I have had the BD in my 2001 now for 3 weeks. Love it. I can tell a big difference in the power. It cost 690. 00. Can take it in or out in 1 min.

So Murle how far is Granbury from San Antonio, that's where I'm originally from? Did you have a boost and egt gauge installed?
What kind of readings are you getting? What about fuel economy, seen any difference? There ain't a lot of mountains in Texas but have you done any towing and how has it preformed if you have?

arar, Granbury is about 30 miles southwest of Ft. Worth. It bought the power from 235hp to 295hp. I did not put any boost guages or anything on it. I can really tell the difference in the power!!! Mileage?? Don't know yet. I have only a 1000 miles on the truck.

Have pulled a 25ft trailer with 10,000 lbs of corn and it is great. The rpms just keep on climbing and climbing fast. Can pull it in overdrive and never have to grab 4th.

I was at Ted Jennetty's place in Conn. (Jennetty Racing Ent. )getting some work done when Ted asked me if I ever tried a VA box. Needless to say after several miles of road testing with Frank Noble, I personally am asking Santa for this to be my one and only present this year. MY TRUCK CAME ALIVE!! I watched for the 20sec. installation and afterwards the 20sec. removal. (which I didn't want to happen) If your lucky enough to find somebody that will let you try a VA, TRY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!
