I had full intentions of modifying my crossmember until I saw the light using the 1/4" wobble end extension.

And just who had the wobble end extension???

As in my post above, Harbor Freight has the extension. The real hassle is not removing the bolts that way, it is getting them reinstalled straight, without cross-threading.

I have had zero issue getting the bolts to go in straight. Biggie is to stick gasket to pan.

YES, and who bought lunch? Can I train you to empty my Ecoboost catch can addon? Seems direct injection turbo charged engines like the Ecoboost have an issue of cooking crud on the back side of the intake valves. There is no fuel in the intake path to wash or cool the intake valve, as it is injected directly into the cylinders. The turbos(yes the 2.7 has two) cause extra blow by and OEM the crank case has a hose to the intake manifold. The after market catch can collects oil, water vapers and other crud. So you have to establish a schedule to empty the can which varies engine by engine. Typical of a Ford engine bay, one can not even see the turbos or the ground under the engine!
