I was just watching a Pink Floyd concert on the tube. WOW! Of all the bands I like, I would pay some pretty serious change to see Pink Floyd. What concerts (past, present, dead, alive) would you want to see?

Never had the opportunity before his untimely death but, Stevie Ray Vaughn is one I would like to have seen.

Monsters of Rock Festival, 1988 in Castle Donington, England.

GNR, KISS, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, etc..... crazy, insane, out of control---like heavy metal should be. Oo.

You are probably watching the local PBS fund raising shows...

I actually got to go to a Pink Floyd concert here in Sacramento back in 1988... ...

to this day I can still recall all of the video, laser shows, lighting, and other special effects along with the amazing sound that went into that production.

I can't even fathom what those production costs were.

It was shortly after the passing of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Back in the mid 90s, I got to see John Lee Hooker and BB King tear it up on stage before John Lee's passing and that was really great.

I still would not mind seeing Eric Clapton unplugged in a small acoustically correct venue.

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

Going to see Dave Matthews next month. Don't care for him much as a person but he can sing and love the music.

I wish I could have seen Pink Floyd before they broke up, and Stevie Ray, Alice in Chains, Megadeth before they all died!

Did see AC/DC in Denver though I wish it was the Castle Donington one they did in the 90's.

My vote for ultimate concert: on the roof of the Abbbey Road studios for the last concert of the Beatles... . (did they ever pass the audition?)

I was fortunate enough to see SRV in a small theatre in Red Bank NJ back in 1982 before he became nationally big... . WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!! It was incredible!

The best I ever saw were Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard concerts. If you are my age and you liked the old Rock and Roll, go see Little Richard if he shows up in your area. He's still got it. Saw him in Louisiana about two weeks ago. bg

The late great Chris Ledoux, man I miss him. :(

Another for Chris, He was the best. I have never been hit by so many copenhagen cans as I did on the second row when he played the last time at the dee events center in Ogden, dang that was some good times. I hope his boy will try and keep the spirit alive.

Man what dark day that was. I miss him as well. I had a chance to see Sam Kinison but, I could not get time off work to go. I wish I had taken that opportunity, the next week he was killed on his way to Vegas. I was kicking myself for weeks after that.

I'm not into the big production concerts but I'd like to see Brad Paisley in concert again. That's a talented group of guys doing some serious pickin...

I'd like to see him at the Grand 'Ole Opry or a smaller venue, you know, one of those more laid back style shows, no lights and fanfare, just some good playin'.

one i saw, and would like to again

I saw Reba with Brooks & Dunn about 7-8 years ago when they toured together. I really, Really enjoyed that concert. I was in 2nd row, and it was up close & personal. Of the old acts, i'd like to see AC/DC, and also Alabama.

I saw Brooks & Dunn maybe 12 years ago. The original opening band never showed up so Beastie Boys opened for them. Being I really like both of these bands, it was awesome.

I think a good concert would be one of the following- original Metallica, Swans, Replacements or Pink Floyd. There are many more, but to me this would be a good start.

Saw that same concert tour, awesome! Definately was worth the money!

I am with who ever said somthing about the Grand Ole Opry, I have been there... LOVED IT! I actually got to sit on stage, and also got to talk to the stars that night. Allison Kraus was pretty damn good that night, and she was really nice, she is a very quite shy gal it seemed. I swear, if I ever do get a record deal some day, I want to sing a duet with her, she is amazing!

Took my daughter to her first concert this past weekend. AFI played at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. What an eye opener, mosh pit, crowd surfing, stage diving, daughter was front and center, I hung back, didn't want to hurt anybody, lol.

I've seen, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Missing Persons, Oingo Boingo, Yes, Rush, Phil Collins, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Aerosmith, Van Halen, can't remember all of 'em right now. Even though its been quite a while since I've gone to a concert, and AFI really is awesome, these guys have a lot of energy on stage and the crowd knew every word to every song.

That all said, Pink Floyd and Guns n Roses along with Van Halen were the best, heck as far as I can remember all the concerts were great.

Brings back good memories.
