Alaskan's

Darwin would have gone kite surfing during Gustov ... Right?

Some of the best I've seen - like waaaayyyy back when:

Chicago in 73 at Wichita, KS

Harry Chapin in 78 alone with his 12-string at a USO tour at Torrejon, Spain - just before he died

Merle Haggard and Charlie Daniels around 85/86 at San Angelo, TX

Randy Travis in 89 at a USO tour at Capodichino Airport, Naples, Italy

Being one of the older generation kinda guys I don't know much about these newer people y'all are talking about, but I'd like to see Moody Blues, Neil Diamond, ELO, Hall & Oates...

I'd like to see Moody Blues, Neil Diamond, ELO, Hall & Oates...

I saw Neil Diamond a few years back. It was a great show. It's fun to know all the songs that you forgot he sang. I saw the Moody Blues in the mid 80's. Another really good show. Not a lot of lights and flash, but really good music. I saw ELO a couple years ago. One of our friend's daughter was in the local high school backup group with them. It, too, was a good show. They only have one or two of the original group, so is it really ELO? Sounded like them! Other shows that I'd suggest-- The Eagles, Rush, Genesis, Alabama, Randy Travis, Elton John (without the band), Huey Lewis... lots of great shows, but I still want to see Pink Floyd! I was also lucky enough to see Ray Charles before he died. Go see the oldies before they become the gonies. Go see the ones you wouldn't think about... Village People, Tom Jones, Wayne Newton. Some of the backup bands are the best musicians you never heard of!

Saw Pink floyd in august of 1988. This is where they recorded "Delicate Sound of Thunder" The show was sick. I saw them again in 1994 at the ol Foxboro stadium in MA. I wish I was able to see them with Roger Waters however. Thats what I wish I could see.

I would like to see Phish again. That was a fun band! They were alot more fun before Jerry died and all the Deadheads started touring with them. They went from small 1 to 3 thousand seat venues to 10-20K seat venues! Best years for them were 1989 - 1994.

I have seen Jimmy Buffett ten times, have been to an Alan Jackson concert and The Eagles. The Eagles are unbelievable on how they can harmonize and would love to see them again.

I've seen so many concerts, I couldn't even begin to list them.

I've seen Alabama 6 times, including their last stop here in MN that was unscheduled.

I've seen Montgomery Gentry 9 times. I really enjoy seeing them, and hope to get back stage sometime to meet them.

I also saw Gordon Lightfoot twice. The second time he was on oxygen on stage. Both shows were very good and I wish I could see him again.

Amink,

I would like to see the original Pink Floyd. I heard they were offered 100 million to do a world tour. They declined. Waters and Gilmour don't get along I guess.

Hoof Hearted, I am a big Missing Persons fan here. I saw them in '85 and they rocked.

Phinz up!!! Oo.

Other than that, I would love to see Foghat again. Seems like I missed a few moments when I saw them back in 81. :-laf

AMink,

A couple of weeks ago I turned on PBS about midnight and I see a Pink Floyd concert. Something didn't look right. Waters or Gilmour was not there ( figured it was one of them, but not Pink Floyd) Then a pledge break come on and it was a Pink Floyd tribute band. They sounded good but lost interest real quick. :-laf

This is way cool. '77 Animals Promo. "Hoisting the Pig" over Battersea power station UK.

I have seen Ralph Stanley twice... What a LIVING LEGEND!!

Brad Paisley is a great concert. Saw him in a local dance hall. Have seen Chris LeDoux four times, all before he got sick. Have seen Alan Jackson, Tracy Byrd and George Strait too. . They, like Brad Paisley, are true good singers, without the "stage show" mess.

I have been to many country and bluegrass concerts, mostly in local bars and dancehalls. I am no fan of the huge arena type shows though.

saw pink floyd about 92 or 93 in Denver. I was on the edge of my seat all night. Great show !!!!!!! I would give several tanks of diesel to see the magain

Pink Floyd, boy that brings back memories from 73. Their website is good especially the Echoes link.

Before I saw your reply, I saw your user name and thought you were going to say Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
