water inj. I know what it is, but...

Interesting!!

Show me the Money!

I've been paying 1. 45-1. 54/gal for about the last six months. This is about the same as unleaded. Currently we're at 1. 48, same as unleaded regular. What really gets me is there's a refinery 12 miles down the road that refines diesel fuel. This very same fuel they put in tankers and ship 355 miles to Anchorage, AK where they sell it for 1. 35-1. 45/gal. Every time someone puts the oil companies in the hot seat, fuel prices drop 3-4 cents/gal and everyone gets happy and doesn't say anything until they're higher than the last time they complained. It's all based on what the market will bear. There are far fewer independent service stations in Fairbanks than Anchorage, so they can control the cost of fuel easier, knowing they're going to be within a few cents of the other stations. Not so in Anchorage, where it can (and does) vary as much as 10c/gal depending on what part of town you're in. Gotta love an empire eh?

Oh yeah, heating oil is about 1. 32/gal, and all the unleaded sold in Alaska is shipped in, yet costs the same as the diesel refined in the local area. "No Mr. Congressman, there's no unethical price-fixing conspiracy"

$1. 359 at Shell station off I-25 @ Del Camino. Place pumps a lot of diesel everyday. What happened to the . 99 to 1. 10 stuff??

$1. 38 at Meijer in Indianapolis. $1. 47 at most other places in town. It also says premium diesel on the pump. They havent been able to provide me with why it is called premium. All the dump trucks in town use this place so I feel OK to use it.

just went up $1. 59 here in bentleyville pa. never been the same as gas prices for a long time. seems like gas goes up and so does diesel then gas goes down and diesel stays the same? don't seem right to me!

$1. 51 is the best I've seen around So Cal lately:{ , its been creeping up steadily since December.

When I first bought my 96 used in 98, I was paying $ . 88  ... ... ... .

Canuck Fuel

If you guys thinks that $1. 50 is bad, up here in BC the diesel is about $. 60 per liter which is about $2. 40 a Gallon give or take a few pennies.

At least I don't drive a gasser, more like $2. 80/gal

I paid 1. 27/gal at the CO-OP yesterday and they said Bio Diesel went up to 1. 15!

Everywhere else around here is 1. 35/gal.

Topped off today, because it was taking a .15 jump...

1. 419 to 1. 569 plus 6 cents for no 3-axle permit.

But I'm getting 10% off because I buy all mine with a prepaid card at Speedway. Of course I pay for that with my Discover and scrape up another 1% too. Every little bit helps.

$1. 37 Sheridan, WY... . $1. 39 Lovel, WY... and nearest to me $1. 47. . That figures

I expect them to jump any minute.

My Diesel place raised the price 20 cents a gallon and the news says you better fill up before 1-1-03, its going up again. Can any one explain?I am confused. Do you buy a whole gallon or 9/10s of a gallon?Every price has a 9 in it.
