You may be a gun nut if. . .

Largest load I ever hauled was 30,000lbs + 7,500 lbs of trailer, total = 37,500lbs. Sorry no pic, the plants here in the south do not allow picture taking.

NAHHHhhh - that's just big dry hay - sorta like haulin feather pillows... :p :D

Nice load - any idea of weight? What do the holders look like that hold those bales - I sorta visualize a BIG toilet paper dispenser... :p :D

Now those are some large feather pillows... .

As for weight, those bales probably go between 1500-1800 lbs. Just depends how tightly they were rolled up (since I rolled them, they were pretty tight ;)). It definitely puts some sag into the back end of the truck.

As for holders, we just set them on the ground in the pasture and put a metal hay ring around them and let the cattle eat. The ring just keeps them from running all over the hay and pushing the bale around the field.

I must say, never thought about the TP dispenser setup for feeding hay... ... Hmmmmm, wonder if there is a patent on that. :D

I always pull the twine off before I ring 'em. I'm not saying that you don't, but I see too many guys that are too lazy to remove the baling twine. These same guys wonder why their herd has intestinal problems. :( Plus it looks like crap laying about in their pasture.

Oh yeah, most definitely gotta pull the twine off of them. That stuff takes forever to break down and will cause all sorts of problems when the cattle ingest it.

We used to use that sisal twine which you could leave on there when you fed. The problem was it was broken down by winter time (at least on the bottom) and it was a PITA to move a bale since it would fall apart.

Besides... taking the twine off and piling it up in the back of the truck just means I'm never short on string to tie things up with all winter long. :D

I suppose a powermax would handle this okay

It's hard getting the brakes adjusted right. Maybe a I need an exhaust brake. Really cuts into the mileage. Should I get some 19. 5 tires/wheels for all that load?:-laf :-laf

Okay this is what I tow the most. Kinda embarrassing really.

Check your PM's Mark--I PM'd you.

I didn't have any way to get online from Oct 9 until Oct 14. I didn't even have a phone for the first three days.

I sent you two PM's at least starting Monday when I got back on -or early Tues AM. But just now I go and check the "outbox" and nothing is there. Check your PM box. If nothing is there, then I'm doing real EMAIL from now on.

Anyway I'm back online with a digital 64000 connection and 128000 bonded on demand. thanks.

I just sent "test message" via PM.
