what all sensors does the cruise control use on a 12v auto truck. i converted the truck to a 6 speed and lost cruise control cause i permantly grounded the nutral safety switch. later i made the nutral safety switch a switched lead and my cruise control worked if i ungrounded the netural safety after i started the truck. now some time has gone by and my cruise control does not work what all do i need to look at to try to get it working

thanks

Ken

Cruise get its signal from the vehicle speed sensor. Turns off with the brake, clutch and steering wheel switch.

Have you checked the vacuum line under the drivers side battery? Battery acid leaks on it an it cracks/leaks vacuum, disabling the cruise.

+1 on the vacuum leak. Have you noticed any weakness in the power brakes, heater controls? I had a vacuum leak on mine keep kicking the cruise out.

I converted a friend's auto over to a 5 speed. I rewired the neutral safety switch to work with the clutch micro switch, no toggles needed if you do this. Make sure it is adjusted to trip as soon as you engage the clutch.
