Not sure why you would want a bench, additional seat? The Longhorn Leather bucket seats are the nicest I have ever sat in.
No argument there. We take in animal rescues and they travel with us. Wife likes the little dog up front with us, and wants leather. Was reminding the wife that the little dog is pretty old and......
the bucket seats are heated and air conditioned and..... We are getting older and need the additional level of comfort and...... well, just have to make sure momma is happy with buckets then all will be good. There are tons of trucks on dealer lots with leather buckets, and nearly none with leather bench.

Our little dog used to ride in the center of the bench in my 2005. Now with a center console he rides in the back and is actually safer there in his bed on the fold flat floor. In the event of an accident or just a panic stop he would now be restrained by the seat back.

Just don't get a stick shift. My little dog rides right on top of the console. Put a beach towel or whatever to give him some cushion and grip.

Same here my little Dog rode there too, so now he'll have to get used to the back with the seats down, which he should like better. MAN I REALLY WANT MY NEW TRUCK.

Ya, mine is special order. BUT now in limbo with the SEB (rear air) delay!!

I will be curious to see if you actually get a 2500 with 3.73 ratio. I inquired about this with Chrysler and was told 3.42 was the only axle available in the diesel. 3.73 is available in the gas engine.

The only ratio available with any SRW diesel is 3.42, must be a DRW to get a diesel with 3.73 or 4.10.

When I bought my Dually it had 3:42's. Dave Smith Motors said they would swap both front and rear axles to 4:10's for $1,500. Awesome deal but I decided I was happy with the 3:42's.

Yes, I think for me also. I think I'm in a better torque range for the speeds between 60 and 70 mph. At first I was worried but fuel MPG is great. I don't know what the equivalent ratio is in 5th but it's probably at least 3.73 or maybe even 4.21. I once changed out the gears on a chevy to 4.11 and after two sets of gears, I gave up. They never could get it right. The howling was awful.

I don't tow, only haul, and the more I ponder over the gear ratio for an ordered 3500 dually truck, I think I'd like a 3.42:1 ratio instead of a 3.73/4.10 even though I have a choice. After reading reports from members with a 3.42 ratio towing 5th wheels, I don't think I'd have a problem hauling a truck camper. Driving without hauling the truck camper, the truck should turn relatively good fuel mileage running at highway speed.

I thought about the 4.10 for hauling my TC, while 3.42s may be more mpg economical empty. I ordered the 3.73s, my RPMs are low enough empty with the double OD Aisin ratios.
Also, the 3500 gets the 300MM rear axle only with the DRW Aisin 3.73/4.10. That ended my pondering about the 3.42 as I use the nearly 6000 lb DRW payload to haul my heavy Arctic Fox.

Opps! I forgot about the 300-mm rear axle! Yep, back to a 3.73 as I had originally planned and quit pondering...
With my present truck, there's just under 8k lbs. on the rear axle.

I've heard claims that 3.42s have come in 300MM, but that goes against all Ram documentation I've seen on the matter.
And yes, that 1121 is no lightweight!
