What Goes On When Releasing Parking Brake

When I release my parking brake the dash/stereo come to life too, but the doors don’t lock.

That’s it, Ron! It sure ain’t no simple vehicle anymore! So you can see the “hub” and all the “nodes”. The various modules send messages along the bus to allow the vehicle to operate.

I have looked at wiring diagrams for '18 Ram as '19 Ram still is not available when you shutdown the truck all these module shutdown in certain order some even talk to some of the on board computers prior to shutoff, really interesting reading the wiring diagram, there is one module for storing incident information.
