Dad always said I was a sucker for a good deal......history seems to repeat itself with ever increasing severity. 2018 3500, Laramie Longhorn, Aisin, rear air.........time to load up the 500 gallon water tank!

You will have made Cummins12V98 proud....
  • DRW
  • Rear Air
  • Aisin
  • Longhorn
Now.....you gotta share the axle ratio. :D

Beautiful!

I test drove a Laramie Longhorn Southfork when we were shopping. Beautiful trucks.

What color is the interior?

Congrats!!! Be sure to get it in for an alignment soon! Set TOE to 1/64-1/32" this will save you from the dreaded outside front tire stepping. Run 35 rears solo and fronts 80 all the time. Run rears to what you need when hauling a load.

Oh yea, hit "full image" like this and be sure to get the BEST 5er hitch o

n the market B&W.

Throw a few hundred pounds in it to get it to go into aLT ride mode and leave it there ALL the time. Lower entry/exit and slightly better ride.

Now, you'll be stuck in the truck lane, in second gear, four-ways flashing, with your arm out the window waving all those 4.10 trucks by:D:D:D

J/K

Try running the 4.10 and 3.42 trucks for a day and a half on I-80 and 80 MPH and get back to me.

How many tow a trailer with a GVW of over 20,510????

Climbs a 13% grade at 55 without breaking a sweat.......with a 500 gallon water tank in the back. About what I expected. This Aisin programming is horrible though. I’ve never had a 68rfe shift like this... ..notchy, sluggish beyond description. It’s bad enough that my wife noticed.......and she wouldn’t notice a nuclear explosion if she was looking for it.

Well, you are nothing if not predictable. Did you miss the smilies and the J/K that was there out of respect for Don??? It was humor.

I drove trucks long before double overdrive was around. You just gear for your liking and deal with it, so save your lecture for someone else, please.

What ever, I love my 3:42's!

My brother bought a new F-250 this year with 3.55's the lowest offered. He didn't think he would like it but after towing this from Raton, NM. to Ashland, Mt. (700 miles) he thinks he will keep it:) He said he stayed in 5th all the way, with 4th gear on the big hills. He said he did drop to 3rd right at the top of Raton pass because the temp reached 225* this was at 50 mph. He got 6.9 mpg on 640 miles. We towed it to Raton from Snowflake with a new F-350 dually w/4.10's. It was like it wasn't there. The steep hill into Santa Fe was 5th at 58 mph. We got 7.22 mpg in a 300 mile test.
