another reason to fill to the top

Yeah, yeah, I'm not a 3G driver, but here goes...

I fill up to a few inches from the top. I do that to be as consistent as possible on MPG calculations.

As far as overfilling, my usual fuel stop is 40 miles from home. The next two are 18 and 7 miles away. So the "overfilled" condition is taken care of in just a few minutes/miles. I no worry. ;)

And the 05's should have most of the bugs worked out--except for whatever the smogNAZI's create. :rolleyes:

Nah, this was for those complaining so much. I have no problem with mine.

Apparently you have a 2nd Generation truck if you have no problem "topping" it off. :-{}

I have an 02 and an 03

Guys:

I have both an 02 and an 03: I top both trucks pretty much to where you see fuel in the filler neck. I have to say it's more effort w/ our 03. On our 03, somtimes I have to back the filler nozzle out and angle to right to get to flow w/out clicking off. No real big pain.

I don't get bothered too much about most things, but if I had to pinpoint one, it's the slow (one gallon per minute) pumps. One thing about it, I'm sometimes tempted to go to the truckers pumps where they really flow.
