Competition Going from PDR HX40 to PDR HX40 twins

Competition Funny Truck Pulls

I used to have one as a night stand (with a piece of plate glass on top)... and the other one served as a makeshift TIG welding chair with my crappy homemade welding table.

When I make a log splitter, trike, hotrod - they'll serve as the various fluid reservoirs. Dad used two on his old homebrew log splitter - one for hydraulic, one for gasoline.

Crude? Redneck? Yup.

If water injection is good, water/meth is better, what if there was an oxidizer in there too? So water/meth/amnonia nitrate. Its a little corrosive, so I have the stainless lines and tank. Will I need a hazmat plackard to run at a DHRA event?

Ok, so I was full of bull. Its a gas tank for my Samauri. I welded it together and then the next day I saw this post and I had to try to have some fun.

I'm building a 12v, er, or am I having a 12v built? No matter, it's going to be a good runnin' truck.

It should be crazy, and running end of January. Watch for some dyno numbers come late Feb.

Merrick... ... . Why not build your own engine? The only thing you will have to have done is tuning. That takes the knowledge. The 12V is not a big thing to do. You can save a lot of money that way.

. . Preston. .

Well, at the time I didn't think I could do it, although I had allready done my 24v...

What I really wanted was for the truck to be in and out of the shop. A 3 week rebuild, tops. Well, as always, stuff got in the way, and we ended up waiting on the machine shop, waiting on parts, waiting on decisions, waiting on stuff we were waiting for, waiting, and waiting. It's been close to a year.

Looking back. I should have done it myself. I originally hadn't planned on spending near the money I did, nor was I planning for as much horsepower as I'm about to run, LOL.

Yup, just doing the tuning to it. I bought the parts, told how I wanted it assembled, and set it up, but didn't bolt it together.

Soon comes the fun part...
