Why Kidnap rather than get pregnant?

Cooking in East? Come to Montana

I used to choke down a Bud or nine. I almost hurled when I had a Miller to go with my pizza. Talk about pucker power! When the Silver Bullets were all the rage, I was unimpressed. I was starting to think I didn't like beer. I even tried Zima. EEEESH!

Then I was offered a St. Pauli Girl. Ah, love at last! And the beer was good to! No heartburn or headache. She's a keeper. Heineken is also a favorite. They both have a good bite to them and are affectionately known as skunk beers for their aroma. That aroma comes back the next day so your friends can enjoy it too. On hot summer days, a beer that bites back is refreshing. It has to be cold though. It gets pretty skunky if it warms up before it's finished.

I picked a couple of names off of this post to try. I took the Mrs to the store and bought her some prawns and wine for a treat. I wanted to try some Guiness Stout and some Sam Adams Boston Ale. A good "Beer and Bratwurst" dog with a cold beer and some Mexican sport peppers are a good test of a beer's compatability. I haven't tried the Guiness yet. The first Sam Adams Boston Ale was so good I had another with my brat. Boy is that a smooth Ale with a good lasting head, sweet aroma, rich almost coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. Definately on the barley side of flavor. Even after it's warmed up some it's still good. I'll definately keep some of this in the fridge from now on.

Tomorrow when I get home from work, I'll try a cold Guiness Extra Stout. :D

Would that be the same as CanadIAn?:p

Down here people always says "how the hell can you drink that Canadian I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER" But for some reason my cooler is always the first one to go dry! Molson Ice and Corona will do too!:D Go Canada, eh!

Who said LoneStar? Dude... ..... hope your in College!;) :{

Red Hook ESB... any good "bitter" ale is my style

JR... I remember you went to the party school where Sierra Nevada is a preresquisit for a degree :p

you all are killin me, I dont drink (barely a few a year) but if I have a beer I am good to go with Keystone Light... ... ... ... .

I feel like trailer trash for liking the poor stuff:eek:

Molson's XXX (triple X) for me. I have not been able to find it here in the states, so I make a run once a year to Canada. Alcohol content is over 7%.

I cant believe I am the only one who has tried Mississippi Mud. If you like good German beer, or even Guinness, I think you might be impressed with this stuff. It is very hard to find, and I have only seen it at Specs every once in a while.

I hear Fat Tire is also good, and will try it soon.

Another Shiner Bock man here, Discovered it in Texas, About four years ago they started selling it in Maryland. It's always in the house.

FREE Beer is always the best. I had a free Miss. Mud at my bro-in-laws a few months ago. Not bad beer at all as long as you don't mind scooping it in!

If I buy, it's MGD, Coors original or Killians Red.

I'll have to try the Mud if I can find some. The Guiness Extra Stout is alittle too stout. The flavor isn't bad but it has an after taste of Listerine. Too heavy on the hops. Down here Spec's is a music store. I'll have to look in the local licker store.

Gary - that is no lie. I spent quite a few days drinking Sierra Nevada out of kegs in my front yard in Chico. A buddy of mine worked for the contractor that did the finish work in there pub. They did such a nice job that the brewery gave them a couple free kegs a month... ... no wonder it took me five years.

If you guys get a chance Sierra Nevada is great beer.....

Right now I am wearing a shirt that says "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy".

I am still looking for one that says "life is to short to drink bad beer".

You said bottled beer, so I'll say Sam Adams Boston ALE (not the LAGER, which is more popular).

On tap would have to be Guiness. Stick to my heritage, you know.

The best beer is an earned beer. Either after a hard days work, helping somebody out, etc.

Harp (irish better than the canadian version)

Singha (thialand)

Bass Ale

Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale by Dominion Brewing Co. Ashburn VA.

If your not sure what hops taste like you will know after a bottle of this. They also make a good Dortmunder in additon to several seasonal brews.
