I've always used Fleetguard Complete 50/50 pre-mix. No need to add water. Not the cheapest, but I'm in this for the long haul ( 190K and counting)

100% anti-freeze does not give as good protection as a 50/50 mix. You would be spending more for less protection. Standard anti-freeze is recommended.

I used Fleetguard Complete in mine when I had to put a new radiator it. I didn't bother using the prediluted stuff, cause the price is pretty much the same and you're paying an awful lot of money for water. I just went to the grocery store and bought distilled water at a buck a gallon.

"bought distilled water at a buck a gallon. " I only paid 72 cents a gal x 3 + 3 gal of prestone $10 ea at wal-mart. Total around $40 (with tax) for 6 gal. I could not add the 6 gal completly - block must not been completly empty.

It sounds like you just want to top it off. If so, use any of the heavy duty glycol coolants mentioned. I like my Shell Rotella Extended Life Coolant, because I am keeping my truck for a loooong time.
