Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What kind of rear end in my '98 2500?

I know I have a Dana rear end, probably a 70? Did Dodge put Dana 80s in any of the 2500 single rear wheel trucks? It's a 12v CTD. The reason I want to know is I want to buy a locker for it. Thanks. JH

Auto trans single rear wheel will be the 70

Manual would have an 80 hybrid. Randy's Ring and Pinion could tell you quickly.
