Daily Chuckle...

OK I bumped my damn head today!

I'm a landscape contractor in So. Calif. most of my work is large custom homes & estates. I have been in the business about 30 years now.

Stakeman, I used to go to your shop years ago in Simi Valley. I would buy stakes but also get sawdust, to mix into a mulch pile. Last time I was there must have been 20 years ago or so...

I used to be a Navy Nuclear Electrician, but now I teach Quality Assurance at SWRMC (Southwest Regional Maintence Center).

Retired USN. Went from scraping barnacles to driving a Landing Craft Utility and Tugboat. In between I pumped fuel to ships at sea, loaded ships and spent one tour as an Instructor.

Tried driving a flatbed OTR, but realized I was paying for a house that I only lived in 2 days a month.

Currently a Mortgage Field Service Rep. Check on occupancy of "distressed" properties, break into the vacant ones to change locks, board windows, drain water systems and cut the 4 foot tall grass. Occassionally evict people. Mostly these days I just do drive by inspections to check up on the folks behind in payments. Sometimes locate vehicles for the repo guys to come get.
