What kind of work does everyone do???

Job title says Heavy Equipment Operator -2nd in command Lead Operator :-laf , so I get to play with the bigger versions of the machines we had as kids in our sand boxes. Project Crew I build roads from the sub-grade-up last 14 years. You phone utility guys don't move those phone drops I'm going to plow them under. :-laf

Marine Pilot. I don't fly nuthin! I navigate merchant marine ships. That's just part of it. I "do" payroll, and calculate safe loads for large bulk freightors. Most generally on the Great Lakes. I spend about 1/3 or better of my working life with my face in a radar. Kind of s@#ks.

Part-time Flight line crew at local Airport



What I do for fun: Firefighter/EMT, Play with chainsaws, Active with the Local Lodge of Masons, yard work and talking my accountant wife into increasing my budget for truck/tractor parts!!

For the last 15++ years i 'm a bread slugger(Drive a Ford 7. 3cube---sorry guys),been hauling 2-3 hundred pound stacks of pita bread/bagels/tortillas and other stuff to the grocers shelf at 3-4am 6 days a week---money is dam good,lets me enjoy my bombing lifestyle. Not what i wanted to do but things didn't turn out the way i wanted--lots of schooling years ago in firefighting etc ,this will do for now. ---DW

I'm a heavy equipment operator. I drive either a Volvo 330D or a Volvo 220E at a local paper & pulp mill where I handle all their woodchips. Used to be a OTR trucker years ago. This job pays better and have a set workschedule, but swingshift sucks from time to time. I like everything that makes smoke and sound, and if it has wheels it's even better
