What Make Canadian McDonalds Different From US McDonalds?

My daughter came home from Ontario, after a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls and said that the Canadian McDonalds was so much different and better than the ones here in the States. What could McDonalds possibly do to make their hamburgers edible anywhere?

I think anything over that flattened out, greased up, slimey, POS they call a burger would help. Their fries ain't bad though.

I don't like the fries. Hardees used to have the curly fries but dumped them when they started making the Thickburgers. I always ordered those.

When you order a happy meal from the menu in McDonalds restaurants in Germany, you can choose a beer although the concept of unlimited free refills has not yet caught on
