Injector questions

Can anyone tell me which modification is going to produce less black smoke, the oversize injectors, or the computer module? For example:

Option one: Stage II injectors and mild computer module

Option two: Stage I injectors and higher performance computer module

Both options would give roughly the SAME power output; ie. +100 HP and +200 ft. lbs.

I want a real "stealthy" truck, that doesn't appear on the outside to be modified. I will likely keep the stock 3" exhaust (UNLESS I have e. g. t. problems), and the guages will be mounted in the ash tray if I can figure out how to do it cleanly. That way the truck would look totally stock, and sound stock, but not be stock. When I need more power, I just flip open the ash tray so I can monitor e. g. t. , and I've got an extra 100 HP on tap.

BUT ... if it lays down a smoke screen like a locomotive pulling a grade, all the stealth work in the world wont make any difference. So how do I keep smoke to a minimum while gaining 100 HP?:D

Thanks

I'd stay away from any injectors above stage 2 if smoke concerns you, with the BullyDog stage 3's and the EZ box I can smoke like the steam train burning coal until the boost gets up. But, I can also do a slow start with very little smoke, not really as much fun though. You might be better off going with the adjustable fueling box and stage 1 injectors for a start, you could always swap the stage ones out to larger if your not satisifed.

Bigsaint makes a good point. With injectors, you're "stuck" with the amount of smoke they produce, whereas with an adjustable box, you're not. Probably the best recommendation I could make is to find a local TDR chapter and check out some other truck's smoke with a variety of injectors/boxes as only you know how much smoke is "too much" :D
