I've heard of people doing it before an oil change years ago. Engines don't really tend to sludge up like they did 30 years ago. Current oils are fortified with detergents and do a pretty good job keeping engines clean as long as proper maintenance intervals are followed
So it is a lot more that 30 years old. SNOKING
I think that link is 10 years, 6 months, 17 days old.......and was as full of garbage then as it is now.Any thoughts on this?
Are all you 4x4 guys hitting the cardan joint grease zerk with grease when you do an oil change?
IMHO not needed unless you use the 4wd. I am on the 30K schedule.
Not on a 2013 & newer 3500 or a 2014 & newer 2500.....Isn't the Cardenas joint still spinning when in 2WD?
