I'm am not trying to start an argument but I need new shocks for my 3500. We tow a lot and I do have air bags on the back. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We would like a good ride and money is not a problem. Thanks
I've used Rancho Rs9000's on both my 2010 3500 and my 2016. I like that they are easy to adjust, and they ride much better than the stock shocks. I stiffen the rears up to max when towing the 5th wheel, and back them off to the mid-setting when empty.
As I go from running empty, most of the time, to 3000lbs of pin weight on the rear axle, the adjustability of the Rancho's is nice. It's immediately noticeable when I forget to stiffen them up with the trailer, or forget to back them off running empty.
I've nothing but good things to say about Bilstein's however, just don't have any experience with them on the truck.
x3 on the Bilsteins for these trucks.
Had them on my 03.5 and am waiting until I want to deal with the upper bolts for the rears to put them on my new to me 11.
