Hopefully you did not give them a deposit, if so get it back , hop in your Cummins, and hitail it out of there as fast as that Cummins will let you!!!!

WOW, I didn't anticipate such a response. Thanks for all the of opinions.

I did give them a $150 deposit the week before this happened I think they shouldn't have a problem giving it back.

I do kind of wonder about the competence of the service department as the guys working back there were laughing about the whole thing.

I thank everyone for their help and I think I'll be calling the dealer back today to ask for my deposit check to be torn up.

My disappointment that day was unreal as not only did they crash the camper I wanted but I really looking forward to hooking up 10,000 pounds to my truck and seeing what she'd do.

Oh well, there will be another chance to do that.

Thanks again everyone, and have a safe one.

I was afraid you were going to say you already signed the papers, and they were bringing it around so you could hook it up.

It might be more of a fight to get your money back if that was the case, but I love a good fight with sales people!

Imagine the leaks one can induce to the roof of a camper when dropped like this one! Also, what if the frame was bent enought to start eating tires in one or two positions? What a mess!

RUN FOREST, RUN!

Smote- I know how hard it can be to find a new bunkhouse, let alone a good used one. Hopefully you'll be able to come up with something soon.

Another thought to ponder- Do you think the dealer will say anything to the next unsuspecting buyer who happens to come accross this coach?

:( Gotta feel sorry for him... ... ... ...

Like Dkevdog said, next customer will not know what happened. Might be a proper thing if you alerted CARFAX as to the damage that the dealer inflicted on the trailer? Wouldn't it be nice to turn the tables on the dealer for a change?

RV Maufacturers

smote,

You are in the RV manufacturing capital INDIANA. You should have your pick of manufacturers and styles to look at. Some with GREAT deals.

Good luck, and hope you have better luck next time.

Dad always had a habit of buying RVs that were "good deals!"

Needless to say, we gutted more than one and started from scratch.

They absolutely are probably the cheapest crappiest objects built in the world.

They barely hold up to normal abuse, let alone a shock(or 2) like that.

Won't be any problem getting your money back.

And I actually put RV dealers ahead of truck dealers on the crook list.
