Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Had the torque converter bolts come out of my truck last weekend stopping all forward motion. I have a DTT flexplate on the way and have ordered new converter bolts from my local dealer, that won't be in until next week. I'd like to get some bolts in and tightened up, just so I can move in around until all the parts come in. I grabbed some grade 8 3/8 fine thread bolts at work, but they are not going in. I'm guessing metric?
Anyone know which size these are? We do have grade 8 metric at work. There wasn't enough of my old bolts left to check thead size. Thanks.
