I am wanting to build a motor that will be very dependable but at the same time capable of around 500 hp to use on the street. The motor will be going in a street truck and I was thinking about putting a set of twins on the truck to keep it cool and was wondering what some people think would make a good pair of turbos to use for the twins. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 62/14 on top and a S400 on the bottom, that works very well for me, in about the hp range you are looking at. I dyno'd Wednesday and made 565hp. Give Rip at Source automotive a call at: (866) 211-1533. They have a pic of a kit at: Source Automotive Twins

Good question I have a PDR HX40 on the truck and the old HX35 in the garage. I also want to put a set of twins together using one of the two turbos but am hung up on which one to use.

If you venture to higher altitude often then I would go with the 35. the 40 will move more air and can support more hp but may make the truck not as fun to drive.

The dodgezilla/B2 setup on my truck runs great - very daily driveable and cool running. Made 599 on a dynojet with 1200 EGT's.

Is anyone using anything like an HX-60 for a bottom turbo, or is it not big enough to use for the large turbo. Thanks for all the great replies
