Salmon/Steelhead in Nor.Cal.

If you had use of a 1400 sq ft garage...

The title pretty much sums it up. I'm installing a new compressor, expansion valve and dryer on the wifes work car and need to flush the compressor oil out of the system.

I'm thinking pore a quart of so of lacquer thinner in the first open hose after removing afore mentioned parts and use blow it out till things seem dry.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks, RJR

Are you going to take it to a certified shop to have it charged? If so, they should get it cleaned out well enough when they put the system into a vacum before it is charged.

Dl5treez, that's one I hadn't considered. Thanks

Mkoth, no, this is a do-it-yourself project. I've got a old vacuume pump. Since I'm converting from r12 to 134, I wanted to do a good cleaning.

Thanks, RJR
