Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What turbo 4 me?

With the mods listed in my sig, what turbo do you think would work good for me? I have a HX40 on now but it just gets too hot in low rpms because it doesnt spool worth *****. I dont tow anything, just daily driver and I would like something to spool alittle quicker. I am debating on putting the stock HX35 back on so it will spool quick. Funds arent good enough right now to buy a SPS 62 or anything like that but I have an abundance of stock turbos at the shop lying around. I have heard alot about the 35/40 hybrid and had thought that it could be a possibility. What do you guys think? Once the 40 kicks in on the hwy the egts wont get above 1250 but they get hot quick in the city cause the turbo just wont spool. I need some input please.

bigger turbo wont help if you cant spool it, the hx-35 will and will do well up to 35psi max

A hybrid will help but I think a 62/12 will be what you need.
