We have 2 kits available. Large kit is B/B and Silver Bullet. Smaller set is K31 and Super 62. Spooling is very good for Twin sets. We have them for 2nd gen. and 3rd gen.

Good to see you guys getting caught up a little and getting that going, sounds like the Bullet/BB combo would rock.

I have the ATS 2000/5000 set on my truck and love them. I'm waiting for the 3000 and am already on the list (any day now). They spool really quick. I have way more fuel and actually lose power by putting to much in so hopefully the larger top will let me dump a bit more fuel in there. But 600hp all day long and never seeing 1300* is awesome. Super easy install. Only complaint is the intake is a joke and had to fab my own up out of my old AFE unit.

My buddy has the BD Twins and they flat out rock. Did 589hp with them and not one bit of temp issues. He pulls/tows heavy almost on a daily basis and they're great. I've been like everyone else and sceptical about how small they are, but based on his truck (04. 5) they're *****en.

Let's see some pics of the Industrial Injection twins setup on a 3rd gen. Also, could someone PM me the price of both setups.

Thanks!

I would suggest that if 500 to 600hp is truly your target goal, most of the sets being discussed here are bigger than they need to be. Sure, you can run them, but I believe you will ruin your twins experience. They are not one size fits all.

For your target HP, I would favor a smaller set like the PDR 35/3B or original BD twins (not the new ones…. way too big for 5 to 600hp). You can have a set of twins that will out-spool a single 62/14 all day.

You can get a set of original BD twins for $3700! That would be the best way to go!

the bd twins are a great set of twins if you want 500 hp maybee a little more but the II twins provide air for 800-1000hp easy , if you want to get serious you need II twins

So what cam is better than Don's?

You can easily run 600hp with BD twins and be in the 12's. It's been done before.

He's not wanting 1000hp. I don't think you need II twins to get serious. Heck Browns diesel doesn't even have twins LOL

yea he runs the silver bullet from II?

I am looking for quick spool and cool egts for 500-600hp with no water/meth or other drugs. Typically, the truck is unloaded but I still want towing ability.

Check this out: http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=7901&cat=10 I personally don't like the way that 35/40 hybrid spools compared to the regular 35, but that's just me. This is nicely externally wastegated, would rock for your needs, and the price is good!

Is the 66/BB laggier than a 66 by itself?

A tiny bit, hardly noticeable for most people but I know my truck very well and can notice small changes.

Wow!! lots of ideas, I expected 3 or 4 posts to this question given the general move to large singles, thanks guys.

Brett if you could please pm me with some info and costs to convert my sps66 over to a twins setup I would appreciate it.

I am guessing that a 66/big brother setup would be overkill for me I really don't want a laggy setup for daily driving (I don't find the sps66 too laggy with injectors AND pressure). Also, wouldn't that big of a setup require fire-ringing, studs and cam?? The studs I have no problem with, I may well do those anyway.

I haven't been on a dyno (so I don't know hp/tq) but with my setup if I go above 3/1 on TST egt goes above 1400deg/50psi rapidly, rail pressure doesn't seem to be dropping either though in fairness it is hard to watch the road, egt guage, and rail pressure guage at the same time. If I put TST on 2/1 egt maxes at a little over 1300deg/45psi, TST on 1/1 and it usually wont hit 1200deg/39psi. Of course the above is somewhat dependent on ambient temps, I am referencing ambient temps of about 70-75deg.

I want 600hp with egt under 1300deg, do I just want what I can't have??

One other thing, is 50psi with the sps66 the same as 50psi with twins?? Do they support the same power and provide the same egt managment?? Or not??

Sorry for the long post and keep educating me guys!!

Thanks, Rick.
