I think you're limited up to 00, but not sure? I recall a buddy trying to help me figure out if I had a bent rim by swapping his 01 aluminum wheels to mine - the front hit a rod joint and wouldn't work. But, the 06's are 17 inch so there may not be this issue? Sorry not much help.
 
I have the stock aluminum wheels off my 06 on my 95 right now. They have a little tighter offset so the centerline of the tire will move in about an inch but they work well. I'll see if I can get a photo up later.

I have 05 steel wheels, had to clearance the rear hub caps to fit. The aluminum rims are a bit thicker and you don't have to modify the rear hubcaps. Handling drastically improved for me going to 17 inch rims from the 16 inch.
