I work a couple of jobs. 5 days a week I am doing a research fellowship in Cardiology in Dallas, with some clinical duties, and on weekends and at night I freelance as an internal medicine doctor. Work hard, get paid OK, able to support my family and new 4mo old future Cummins-BOMBing little boy. Gonna keep my 2001 ETH/DEE so he can learn to drive a 6-speed manual! Also play bass in a rock band. Good to hear what everyone does!

My title is Sr H. D. Equipment Mechanic.
I supervise 4 repair facilities for a public utility in SoCal. Everything from cars and trucks to cranes, construction equipment and bucket trucks. I am also involved with the
Southern California Timing Association that run the speed trials on the dry lakes and at Bonneville Salt Flats.

Mechanical Engineering Technologist, working for an engineering consulting firm in Calgary for the last 8 years. Trouble shoot and condition monitor oil and gas/industrial engines and compressors. (If its got pistons, I've seen it. ) Do maintenance evaluations and consult companies on maintenance programs. Use digital equipment to analyse the units while running and manually inspect them on a shut down basis measuring clearances and borescoping the internals. Currently supervise the Canadian part of our Machinery Optimization Services group.

. I primarily work on the Avalon. I am design responsible for all the seats in the Avalon. I also work on the seat, seat belts, and instrument panel on the next gen Lexus RX-300 ('03 model year). Wanting to get back down south, I'd like to doing design work on any vehicle, preferably those Cummins powered (but diesel powered would be great). Hey, tractors come to mind.

Up until a week and a half ago, twelve years as a sevice technician for various Dodge dealers across Michigan. Now shop foreman of an independant "dealer alternative" repair shop in my home town near the family farm. When I'm not wrenching on customer's car's or dad's farm equipment I'm either shooting bullseye or combat matches with the 45 or benchrest matches with the 243.
Would love to here from other Chrysler techs on the board. It's a shame what the kraut-eaters have done to our beloved Corp.

15 years as a cabinetmaker, Then about 10 years as a general contractor. Now I'm a production mgr. , estimator, salesman, and installer for a high end cabinet shop. You wouldn't believe how many Million $ plus homes there are in the DC, Northern Virginia, MD area. (Actually, PLUS PLUS homes) But next month, I'll be a contractor again. About 3 months working for other folks is about all my psyche can handle.

Before this I hauled crude/condensate/water around for a living-hence the moniker. Love my new job-it enabled me to buy my truck!

I work with explosives, Zirconium potassium perchlorate and lead styphnate (the stuff in primers). We have to wear aluminized flash suits, and work with small quantities, just have to be careful and your ok.

I automate CNC lathes and mills. Try to make them idiotproof, yet operable. Push one button and get a good complete part is the goal. Getting into robot tending and automatic quality checks for the machines now. Was a field service engineer on CNC machines before that.
