What is the weight of my truck? Never had it on any scales? 02' Quad cab 4x4 long bed loaded (not hard) with a six speed?

Weight

1. Check your owner's manual. It should provide all the information you will ever need.

2. Log onto a Chrysler web site. The info is all there.

2. Take it by a weigh station and weigh it.

I would say your weight is about 6800 lbs.

My club cab 96 long bed 2500 4x4 5spd weights about 6450 with 1/8 tank and no driver... yours has a bigger trans, more weight from rear doors, more electrics, more interior gadgits so i 6800 sounds about right

On the door

If I'm not mistaken, the information you're looking for is on the inside of the driver's door. This is max weight, not the weight of your particular truck. The only way you're going to find that out is to weigh it.

see sig below, full of fuel, wife , two boys (7&9). tool box fifth wheel hitch, small winch up front . i hit 8000 lbs. ken

Hey Jared, I'd say 6800 to 7000, mine weighed in at almost 6600 with me (240), my miller 135 (85), and my blue tool box (30-40?).

Just scaled my new 2004. 5 3500 SLT Sport SB QC 4X4 Auto:

Front 4400 lb

Rear 2800 lb

Total 7200 lb

BTW, first tank of fuel (mostly highway) 17. 5 hand calculated

My truck (see signature) weighed 7,680 lbs with driver, passenger, 2 Shelties, full fuel tanks, 5th wheel hitch and WeatherGuard toolbox.

Just weighed my '01 with me in it and 3/4 fuel. Weight was 7360. But I also weigh 300... ... ... ... lol So 7060 truck would be if I got my fat a$$ out of it.

7000 should be a good guesstimate. The Ranchhands may affect it a bit, but that Rhino lining could throw you into the 8k range! Mine was 6950 with no driver, but with some misc tools and stuff in the bed.

BTW, is the 370hp in your sig with you current config of BOMBs? Seems low for what you got...

Dumb ? here ??? When you guys weigh like at the CAT scales, you can just pull up on them and then what ??? Would like to weigh my truck and some of the loads i haul just for the hell of it and don't have a clue how to get it weighed, and don't want to F' it up for the truckers. How much $$ usually ??

TIA

Curtis
