But if you feel that way Sledy than why did the DHRA let it fly for Dragsters. I don't need it I was just wondering WHY , we are all in the same DIESEL motorsports weather we are hookin or stripin. what is good for the goose is allways good for the gander.
Lots of folks over here use lots of NOS. However you won't find it on the BBD it is allowed in our mod class. I do use a 12% only water/meth mix for max cooling as my egt's are high, might have something to do with my punny chargers
We are still building the classes (it's only our second year for a series). The new Work Stock class is going to split some folks out of the street class. The idea of a nitrous/single turbo street class isn't bad, just we are not ready for a third class at this time.
We will create classes based off of what we see, if you are pulling with us and want to have a nitrous class, tell tech and he will log it, just like we did for the work stock class. This is the first time I've herard any interest.
Gene... ... you can keep your snot rag in your pocket. I ain't hurting your feelings for nothing . I just can't stand to see an adult cry.
But the thing I don't understand is why is spray/nitrous cheating or a forgoing diesel technology. If you were talking about propane I would side with you on the issue, but as has been said , it's a coolant, much like spraying water on the turbo's. I really don't get it, as you can tell.
Well Gene's got the idea that using nos is cheating, so I don't think we'll ever see it allowed. And we all know that Gene's word is LAW. I think the modified class would be cool with staged chargers vs. single charger and nos.
