What's your favorite injector cleaner?

BG brand, 44K. It does an wonderful job cleaning injectors. It will clean up carbon on the valves and pistons also.

Well... ... add another vote for the Howes "Meaner Power Kleaner". Started using it with less than 2K on the truck, I now have 19K.

Injector cleaner: Howes "Power Kleener".....
Fuel treatment/anti-gel: Howes "Lubricator". .
I've used them both in my 1st gen truck, and now in the 2nd gen. Quality product.
Available at all truck garages and truck stops in the North East.

Lucas Engineering's Diesel Treatment. When I installed new DDIII's last weekend and the original injectors with 80k miles on them were clean as a whistle. Just my two Krugers ($. 50 U. S. ).

I use the Lucas cleaner also. First time I used it was at 22K and it made a noticable difference in MPG and power. Put some in a 96 with 130k the other day and it helped ALOT.

Where can you find the Lucas diesel treatment? I have not seen it where I live. Power Service and Stanadyne is what is common, which seem fine, but when I pulled my stock injectors at 16,000 miles they were very carboned up, running Power Service about 1/3 of the time.

Lately I've been trying Marvel Mystery Oil which has worked better than expected. It runs smoother and smokes less but I don't know well MMO works for keeping injectors clean.
