You guys will love this one, when I was 18 (1981) I went to go see

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

what made it so great is on the way out thru the garage I noticed my dads chainsaw soooo I put it in my truck and wellllll, if you have seen the movie the part where he chases the guy in the wheel chair with the chainsaw, I fired it up ( this was the first time I ever held or operated a chainsaw) and ran around the drive in with the chainsaw over my head tached out wide open and you should of heard the people shreeking and FLYING OUT of the drive in, all six screens went white and before I knew it I was kissing blacktop. Under arrest and the cops downtown couldnt stop laughing and when I went to court the judge even got a kick out of it but then the penalty 6 months work detail AT THE DRIVE IN picking up garbage and repairing speakers etc. I did not tell my dad for almost 10 years and he was still pi#@@ off cause he was supposed to go cut fire wood the next day and could not find his chainsaw :-laf it was in impound.

I can Honestly say that was one of the funnest most memorable things I ever did

No particular order:

Tombstone

Fist full of dollars

Armegeddon

Gladiator

For a few dollars more

Rambo First Blood

The Ten Commandments

Alien 1 and 4 were also decent

OK... I'll jump in late on this.

Top 3 = Outlaw Josey Wales (probably the best), Unforgiven... and the one no one has mentioned, Pulp Fiction. That one was brilliant.

daytripper63, you are my new hero!

I have a new addition to the list, Star Wars episode 3 - what an awesome flick! No Ewoks, Bothans, or Gungans to clutter up the movie with cuteness, just loads of good combat and a strong (but dark) plot. AWESOME

I like the comment about seeing new stuff in "Jaws", we watched it again a couple of months back and I was most interested to notice Roy Scheider's pristine Blazer - I had a '75 Blazer back in the day, and nowadays it is rare to see one of the '73-'75 in anything approaching decent condition. I also noticed there were a lot of good-looking women in the background shots at the beach :-laf :-laf

The movie also took on a new flavor for me during the scene where Quint talks about being on the USS Indianapolis, as I found out several years back that one of my great-uncles was on that ship when it was sunk and lived through the shark attack nightmare - back in the '70's when I saw the movie the first time, I didn't know about any of that so the scene didn't have near the impact it does now.

4) Paint your wagon.

5) Tombstone. (I’m your Huckleberry!)

6) Full Metal Jacket. (Senior Drill)…

7) Saving Private Ryan

8) Gladiator.

9) Aliens. (Space Marines, I like the DVD with added scenes).

10) Braveheart.

11) Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

12) Start Wars all “6” (The kid in me)

13) Band of Brothers. (great series)

14) Predator

15) Pitch Black,,, (Sci-fi buff…)

Alien

I went to this one with my best friend and his grandmother. As we leave the theater it is raining outside and dark. My friend does not know that his grandmothers car has a rear windshield wiper... ... ... ... ... ... ..... a swear, he almost went through the side window when that thing stated swooshing back and forth :-laf :-laf

We laughed all the way home... ..... actually his grandmother and I laughed through much of the movie.

SciFi, thriller, horror, flame thrower, blood and guts, with a sexy heroin and topped off with a good laugh. What else could a 16 year old ask for?

No contest

The best horse actor ever made, and Lee Marvin in Cat Ballou. Some whacko broad was in it too, can't recall her name, know what I mean!
