I sure am suprised by some of the songs that I've seen on this list. I wouldn't have figured I'd see so many Metallica fans and am suprised that anyone mentioned Slipknot ( who I like also ). I am a fan of Stone Sour too. Lots of fellas here on the TDR.

JPLB22, No I haven't heard Metallicas' version of Tuesdays gone, but I did buy a Hank Williams Jr. CD just to hear his version of it. I would like to hear Metallica's! BTW: My father is a big Johnny Cash fan, and I noticed Johnny does a version of "They Call me the Breeze. "

David Allen Coe Rules. Although in his old age he has gotten quite naughty. I got a couple of his bootlegs and they are borderline between funny, great country, and just plain foul.

JPLB22, I did a little investigating, because I think "Tuesdays Gone" is such a great tune... . In the original Skynyrd version, the Hank Williams Jr. version and the Metallica version, Gary Rossington is on lead Guitar!
