Elite1... I have the disk with me at work but not the CD case so I can't see if Gary Rossington is listed on there. But I never knew that he played in the Metallica version ( I hope I interperted your post correctly ). The disk by Metallica is called " Garage Days inc. ", on that disk they only reproduce other bands songs, they also have Bob Seger's " Turn The Page " which also sounds pretty cool. I think they were pretty respectful to the all the songs original sounds ( for the most part anyway ).

David Allen Coe Rules. Although in his old age he has gotten quite naughty. I got a couple of his bootlegs and they are borderline between funny, great country, and just plain foul.

Love him or leave him i guess... . im still a fan.

One of the all time country best.

You Dont Even Call Me By My Name - David Allen Coe

BTW, TXDieselKid... thanks for turning me on to Jack Ingram.

That guy has a really nice sound. Reminds me of a mix of a lot of artist but he is good. Thanks.

The foul stuff is the best. :p Saw him in cocert last week.

My favorite stuff is off his "Hey You" cd, and his "Living and Dieing" cd. His new ep, "Extra Volts" is darn good too. :)

I've been dominated by women since the day I was born... It would have to be the "Married with Children" theme song. And Al Bundy would have to be me in a movie. The man is a GOD!!!

I never would have thought there were some rabid Slayer fans on here! Last Slayer show I was at was the roughest show I've been to. I was front row center slammed up against the rail and had to fight to stay there. It was good to see Dave Lombardo play.

It's funny how that works,I like the older country stuff from maybe the early '90's on back, like Charlie Daniels Band ,Hank JR. , Alabama,Johnny Cash, those are the guys I can relate too, not this ( top 40) country music that these radio stations play. Seems like the radio station plays a certain song over and over to the point to make you sick. Thats why I went satellite radio,at least they play what I like,OLD SCHOOL METAL AND CLASSIC ROCK,that's what I grew up with. Does anybody remember the group UFO?(I feel like an old fart)... ... ... john

"The Waiting" by Tom Petty (soundtrack to 90% of life)

"Radar Love" by Golden Earring (career theme)

"You've Got to Stand for Something" (principles theme)

The third is probably the closest to my overall outlook I guess.

Although, with all this Homeland Security crapola going on, a better choice might be "The Dream Police" by Cheap Trick...

;)

I'll take Doc's Offer...

My theme song would have to be "Amazing Grace" by Fanny J. Crosby.
