I just bought a 2013 DRW 3500, will the wheels from my 2004 DRW 3500 fit on the new truck. MOPAR did NOT do what FORD did I hope. Thanks.

Take a wheel off your '04 and try it... then we'll all know. :)

I was thinking SOMEONE out there has already tried this... ... ... It will be about 2 weeks before I get back to the shop, #one on the list is to get the stock steel wheels and those awful General tires OFF the truck and install the alloys and Michelin tires. . I do anticipate some improvement with that switch. .

If I had to make a guess I would guess your '04 wheels and all Gen III wheels would fit. Don't know though, haven't tried it or read anything from anyone who has.

I have not tried but I am sure they are the same, My 2011 is the same as the 2003 and newer. You probably already know but be carful of the aftermarket alloy wheels. I could not find ANY that where "hub centric" they are all "Bolt centric" and take different lug nuts so you would have to carry 8 stock lugs so you could put the spare on. I am holding out for a factory set of Alcoas. Don't you have the Alcoas on you truck?

I agree, the Generals that came on my Longhorn were junk! 25K and 2/3 worn front tire developed a big knot on the tread. So bought 6 M/S 2 Michelins In Vegas at Discount Tire for $1,408 out the door. #K later and they are wearing much better than the General's.

I thought Ram went metric with the 2012's or 2013's, let me see what I can find. I was looking at OEM 18's, but thought I found the bolt pattern was different.

EDIT: Looks like I found some false information earlier. Comparing 2010 and 2013 wheel part numbers they are the same for DRW and 17" SRW, and unless Ram has different axles for different wheel options the bolt pattern is still 8x6. 5".

Good news for me, if I can find some decent OEM 18" takeoffs I have another option instead of 19. 5s.

My new truck is just a low life SLT Big Horn. . Does NOT have the factory alloy wheels. . Somehow my business could not pay the extra $10,000 for the Larame Longhorn package. Bummer deal for me.
