2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Wheel Question??

Will the 17" x 8" alumimun OEM 3rd generation wheels clear the rear drums on a 97 Gen 2?



I was looking at a set of them last week and noticed that they are deeply back spaced... . which I need, assuming they would fit over the drums.

They will fit, I run them on my 97.

Are you running the std alum wheel, or the Power Wagon wheel?

Any of the 17's should fit the older trucks, as that's why they went to the larger wheel; so they would clear the rear calipers... . If I remember that correctly... . that and only the dealers had tires the first year or two... . I LOVE engineers... ... NOT!

I picked up the 03 17" x 8" Power Wagon wheels today. As you guys stated, they fit with room to spare on my 97. The back spacing on these wheels is around 5. 75". That's exactly what I needed for my set up.
