Wheel studs and Rickson wheels

I have a set of Rickson aluminum 19. 5 wheels on my 93 D250. I'm attempting to upgrade the studs to 9/16" and a bit longer as well, so I can use the second gen. lugs and center caps. Anyone have an answer?

I thought the studs were 9/16 to begine with? It has been a while since I've owned a SRW, so I could be mistaken.



WHy are you wanting to go with 2ndGen wheels?

He is wanting to use the 2nd gen center caps with the rickson wheels. D250's have 1/2-20 studs.

Nope, First Gen. SRW trucks definitely have 1/2 wheel studs; they were upgraded to 9/16 in '94. Rickson wheels: for any Generation. Trying to customize my ride with the '94-02 center caps... ... ... ... ... .

yes there are lug nuts you can get from dodge that are 1/2" and have that shoulder you'd need to mount the hubcaps from the 2nd gen. Check my reader's rigs gallery. I don't have the part number off hand but a quick search will yield several posts I've already given this pn out on.
