When did the 2ND gen go to the front rotors coming off with just the wheels off and not having to remove the unit bearing, I have a 98. 5 and to remove a rotor is a big job thanks ED

My 2001 4X4 has the slip off rotors, held on by wheel.

I'm fairly certain the change in 4x4 rotor assembly was in 2000 with the change in front GAWR. This site doesn't go past the '02 heavy trucks so there's no info on the AAM Axles.
