As an Network Administrator I can appreciate what you are saying. Some times the strangest things prompt necessary action.

Ah well, ours is not to wonder why, ours is to figuer it out, lol (well more actually true than most would believe. That's what I LOVE about this job, NEVER a dull day, something NEW EVERYDAY, and I mean EVERYDAY!).
GREAT work BTW, when I saw your message I remembered the night before when I spent all night rebuilding 2 servers that all of a sudden just died mechanically in the same night within about 30 minutes of each other. Both had been running for between 3 - 5 years and were as bulletproof as you can get them. A RAID 5 system trashed 2 SCSI hot swap drives simultaneously (now what's the probability of that?), a dual failover power supply trashed a MB as well as the RAID 5 drive package. Oh, and of course, be at work at 08:00 for a full day after a FULL night (gee, Mr. Weis did you forget to shave this morning?).
