Got in late last night. This morning I noticed a long rubber tube dragging the ground under my truck behind the rear axle.

There is a junction block on the top side of the axle (drivers side) with several brake lines running to it. This rubber tube(about 24 to 30 inches long) is plugged in to the top of this block. The other end was dragging on the ground. Everything is still working fine.

My question is: Where is the other end suppose to go? Nothing is leaking. I assume this is some sort of breather tube???

There should be a clip on it to attach it to the cross member. If there is no clip just tie it to the cross member somehow just to that it is up as high as it can go so that water doesn't get into the diff. Mine was buried in the dirt on the frame when I got the truck and the axle was sweating at the left wheel because it couldn't breathe. Shadrach
