Where to buy fuel-Flagstaff/Williams & San Diego

I am to take delivery of my 2003 HO, 6-sp, 3500 this coming week. We are currently working at South Rim of Grand Canyon and our permanent home is San Diego.

Am looking for suggestions as to where to get diesel fuel at these locations. Is the Safeway next to the Flagstaff Mall an OK place for diesel? They sure seem to sell a lot of gas and fuel.

As for San Diego, I just can't think of a truck stop or any other place that would likely sell a lot of diesel. Surely in a city that size there are some OK places.

Any suggestions?

Maybe I'm overly concerned, but I've read messages in this forum from folks who have had nightmarish problems due to getting some bad fuel. Hope to avoid those problems.

Glenn - How's work at the Canyon going? Hope you got located without any trouble.



I buy almost exclusively at the Safeway, its only a couple miles from my home. They buy their fuel from Giant (New Mexico) and its always been good fuel, and the price is usually the best in Flagstaff, and $0. 03 cheaper with a free card, paid $1. 36 today, $1. 81 in Phoenix last week



Stay away from the Maverick, even though its cheaper, its cheaper, and has been trouble in our gasser and we'll never do that again.
