Where is the correct spot to mount the intake temp sendor? I picked up a autometer unit but it does not give dircetions on where to mount. Is the sensor on the flat plate on top of the grid heater infact a intake temp sensor? Is that a sensor that is needed or can that be removed and replaced? Thanks,

Robert

Are both 1/2" ports used on the intake plate? I don't recall at the moment. I'm pretty sure one is for the grid heater sensor and the other (if there is one being used) is for the ksb sensor. If you don't use or care to use the KSB, remove that one. Now just gotta figure out which one it is:-laf.

What size is the sensor you have 1/8"? You could always drill and tap the intake horn, weld a bung to the intake plate, or plumb a T at the boost gauge port on the side of the cylinder head.
