Are you looking for Stock ones to replace yours with or modded? Last time I looked Piers diesel Had the socket the cheapest for $30.

If your looking for bigger then stock there are lots of places that sell them, let us know.

What DV's do you have in now? You can get 191's from piers, thats what their ''high flow'' ones are. You're stock DV's are 181, so it's not a huge difference. Otherwise post a WTB ad on TDR, thats how I pickup my 181's up for about $100.

How would the 191's react with the stock injectors. what would that do to my HP levels and smoke/haze levels. My problem is this, I have to set my timing to 18* just to get the truck to run right. I had it set to 16* and it sputtered and had ALOT of white smoke, but I could lay on the throttle and put out coal until the boost came up and then it would run till i was up to speed, then start to sputter again. what could cause that. I also notice my fuel eco has never been over 16MPG. I bought the truck like this about a year ago, and found this problem when I told shop to set it to 16* advance, they replied with its been set at 18* and it would not run at 16*, it did but not too well. Sorry for the long post, but I am out of options. :{

How are they locating tdc? The timing pin may not be accurate, escpecially if the the front cover has ever been changed/removed. Find tdc using the drop valve method and mark the balancer, then recheck your timing. It's probably not set where they think it is :) If your sig is correct, that truck should run fine at 16 degrees. and what you describe sounds like slow timing.

No i have set timing by drop valve and timing pin both on this truck myself. I set it exactly at 16* and it did the same thing. The shop said that I had worn out delivery valves. The timing on this truck probably is not 18* either. the last time I set it was after I had to have it rebuilt totally, they set it at 18* and it ok but not great, when i got it back home (2000 miles), I slipped the timing and had to set it by ear and the way the engine runs. The truck has ok power, but the low end is not all there. I am inclined to see what 191's would do for me, and get the timing set back at 16*. I don't know though. What are symptoms of worn DV's. Also the truck does not run as smooth as most do, but not really unsmooth, and it sounds more like a growl than a diesel under load. other trucks like mine I have driven have a much smoother power band than mine. it just does not seem to run right. I could use a second opinion (ear) if you know anybody around Enid, Oklahoma.

What else could it be, its got a new lift pump, overflow valve, fuel filter, and prefilter screen. what about injectors. i had them pop tested and they checked out fine, but that was not done by me.
