I got the Westach combo boost/egt gage in yesterday. the directions say I can either attach the boost connection hose by splicing into the boost line running to the wastegate valve or by connecting to the air horn by drill and tapping. they (geno's garage directions) suggest the later. has anyone try it both ways? which will result in the most accurate reading?
I would think that splicing into the waste gate boost line would result in a reading that would best reflect what PSI you acually have at the turbo...
